Lices

AM LICE (former LCC)

AM permits driving two-, three-and four-wheeled mopeds fitted with a motor up to 50cc

Minimum age for applying for this licence is 15.

2 exams must be passed: 1 in theory and 1 in practice.

At LOGOS Driving School we impart training courses in theory with personalized schedules which you can start the moment you have time availability.

The practical exam is a closed track in the same place where the student have taken the training classes.

"A1" LICE

The A1 lice permits driving motorcycles up to 125 c.c.

Minimum age required for applying is 16 years

4 exams must be passed: 2 in theory and 2 in practice:

- The common theory test is indispable for any lice (that is, it is the same for car lice) and, once passed, there is no need for repeating, it is valid for all. This test, as of now, consists of 30 closed questions where you must choose one of several answers offered for each. You can fail up to 3 answers to pass.

-The test in specifics theory for motorcycle driving is a test shorter than the common one, and it is the same for "A1", "A2" and "A" lices. The exam consists of 20 closed (as said above) questions and up to 2 of these can be failed.

Since the contents of both tests have many common points, both are usually passed on the same day.

- The driving skills test (also known as closed track test) is carried out at a closed track where, on a signalled path, the candidate must prove a proficiency in the essentials of the operation of a 125 cc motorcycle, not fitted with gear shifting.

-The traffic test is carried out on streets and roads, and consists of driving the motorcycle with a system of headphones which allow the driver to follow the instructions given by the examiner and the teacher, who are following you in a driving school car.

“A2” LICE

The “A2” lice authorizes driving motorcycles up to 35kW and up to 0.2kW/kg.

Minimum age required for applying is 18 years.

4 exams must be passed: 2 in theory and 2 in practice:

- The driving skills test (also known as closed track test) is carried out at a closed track where, on a signalled path, the candidate must prove a proficiency in the essentials of the operation of -nowadays- a 250 cc motorcycle, fitted with gear shifting.

- The traffic test is carried out on streets and roads, and consists of driving the motorcycle with a system of headphones which allow the driver to follow the instructions given by the examiner and the teacher, who are following you in a driving school car.

Holders of a “B” lice do not need to pass the common theory test, and for holders of the “A1” lice no test in theory is to be passed, but both exams in practice must be passed in such case.

"A" LICENCE

Allows to drive all motrocycles

To apply for it you must have had to hold an “A2” lice for two years at least.

The compulsory course includes 3 hours on theory, 4 hours of closed track practical lessons and 2 hours of traffic practical lessons.

No exam has to be passed

“B” LICE (“car” lice)

The “B” lice permits driving cars up with up to 9 seats and up to 3.500 kg.

Minimum age required for applying is 18 years.

- The common theory test is indispable for any lice (that is, it is the same for all lices) and, once passed, there is no need for repeating, it is valid for all.

- The traffic test is a practical test which takes about 20 minutes and is carried out driving the car along roads and streets, with a teacher and an examiner, who directs the test and orders the manoeuvering (in parking, for instance) by the pupil and checks both his proficiency and his abiding by the traffic code as well as his general abilities.

If the pupil holds already the “A1”, "A2" or “A1” lice, only the practical (traffic) exam is required.

BTP LICE

Have been holding the “B” (car) lice for a year or longer? Then the moment for getting your BTP lice is NOW!

The BTP is mandatory for driving passengers for hire, school transport vehicles and priority vehicles: taxis, ambulances, police cars, private cars for school transport...

To apply for the BTP a “B” driving lice is a precondition

If you have been holding the “B” lice for a year or more, you need only pass a theory test. This consists of a test with 20 closed questions, of which up to 2 may be failed. The subject is quite short and focuses in the transport of passengers, urgency situations, elementary mechanics, etc.

If you have been holding your “B” lice for less than a year, a test on specific theory, a track test and a traffic test will also be required.
